Pastor Derrick R. Spring

A Servant Called by God

Reverend Derrick R. Spring is a devoted servant of Jesus Christ, called to shepherd God’s people with humility, integrity, and a heart for discipleship. His ministry is marked by a deep love for God’s Word, a passion for strengthening families, and a commitment to building a church rooted in prayer, unity, and spiritual growth.

Pastor Spring was ordained on April 27, 2025, in a sacred service surrounded by clergy, family, friends, and the Browns Mills Baptist Church community. It was a day that beautifully reflected God’s grace and affirmed the calling placed on his life.

The Year of Restoration

Under Pastor Spring’s leadership, Browns Mills Baptist Church is embracing The Year of Restoration — a season of healing, rebuilding, and renewed strength. After all the church has endured, this theme is more than a slogan; it is a declaration of faith.

It is a commitment to:

  • Restore unity
  • Restore joy
  • Restore families
  • Restore spiritual foundations
  • Restore hope in God’s promises

Pastor Spring believes that restoration is not simply returning to what was, but rising into what God always intended. It is a work only the Holy Spirit can accomplish, and it is unfolding in the life of the church even now.

A Heart for the Church

Pastor Spring leads with compassion, clarity, and Christlike character. His ministry emphasizes:

  • Strong biblical teaching
  • Authentic worship
  • Community outreach
  • Spiritual formation
  • Leadership development
  • Strengthening the next generation

He is committed to honoring the legacy of Browns Mills Baptist Church while faithfully guiding the congregation into its next chapter of ministry.

Family & Personal Life

Pastor Spring is supported by his loving wife, Michelle‑Anne, and their family, who serve alongside him with joy and dedication. Together, they are grateful for the privilege of serving the Browns Mills community and advancing the mission of Christ.
